These cars use a new solid-state Lithium Iron Phosphate battery that should last 6000 charges before its capacity drops below 80% of the original value. This allows us to include a standard 2 million mile, 45-year warranty.
The running costs of driving this car should actually be lower than a new $50,000 BMW, as electricity is much cheaper than gasoline, and the mechanical components are designed to last much longer, but you get all the benefits that come with owning a high-end car, such as quietness and low vibration. The seats, steering wheel, and interior trim are all easily replaceable, so the second owner can be assured that the car will be very sanitary if they choose to buy used.
