This laptop conversion takes the state of the art ThinkPad Z16 gen 1 laptop and replaces the casing of the laptop with a metal body that has heat pipes that transfer the heat from the CPU, GPU, and SSD to the lid of the computer so that the laptop can work without a fan. This means that the laptop can be hermetically sealed so that it is more water and dust resistant, while being completely silent, as it does not need a fan.

 

This laptop can be connected to one external Nvidia RTX 4090 graphics card in a 65-inch, 8K@60hz, OLED monitor per laptop, that can effectively connect to each laptop over Thunderbolt 4, at 8K and 60hz for maximum office productivity and for playing video games. So whenever you are at home, this laptop can effectively get over 70 trillion floating point math operations per second, or 4x what the top-of-the-line M3 Max Macbook Pro 16-inch gets while plugged in.

 

It also comes with an internal 4TB or 8TB PCIe gen 4 SSD for artists who shoot lots of high-resolution videos.

 

The maximum TDP would be up to 64 watts, assuming that the room temperature is not more than 80 degrees Fahrenheit and this setup won’t be any heavier than the ordinary fan-cooled ThinkPad Z16

 

As far as the keyboard and trackpad go, it’s a ThinkPad, so it comes with the legendary quality keyboards that ThinkPads are known for. The trackpad can be clicked anywhere (even including the top), similar to Apple’s Force Touch trackpads on their MacBook Pros.
